Hi, I am Mo
My name is Moritz Andreatta, I am 25 years old, I live in Graz and I am studying for a Master's degree in Industrial Design at the FH Joanneum with a specialisation in Eco Innovative Design.
During my bachelor's degree, I took the furniture design specialisation from the third semester onwards, in which we dealt a lot with sustainable materials and innovative production processes. I am particularly fascinated by the combination of sustainable design and modern technologies. My special interest is 3D printing and 3D technology. For this reason, I chose as the topic for my Bachelor's thesis 1: "The use of 3D scanning technologies in conservation-restoration and in the museum sector." The topic of my bachelor thesis 2 is about "Products for hostels." The focus of my work is the development of add-on modules for the beds in shared rooms to increase the privacy and security of the guests. For this bachelor thesis I could win the cooperation of the A&O Hostel, location Graz central station.
During my bachelor's degree, I also completed two internships of two months each. At the carpentry Höck GmbH in Kitzbühel, I was able to actively accompany the entire process of creating sustainable furniture, which is produced in a traditional carpentry workshop.
During my internship at the Michael Pachleitner Group, I developed concepts for a glasses case with a focus on sustainability and multifunctionality.
